Place - Lakeside Lounge
The Lakeside Lounge is a place of contradictions. You'll never be a regular, although anyone could be. The jukebox is full of obscure 50s and 60s rock, and strange things happen - the man in line before you will enter $20 worth of song selections and then you're only allowed to pick one. One night, they stopped the music and silenced the bar to play a particular scene from Singing in the Rain on the TV. There's a photo booth – so you can say it all in four black and white panels – and if you're lucky, the woman behind the bar will crack it open to show you how it works. Have you ever seen inside of a photo booth? It's actually quite incredible.
