Georgian Fashion Week in Tbilisi was a whirlwind of fashion and traditional culture. We discovered a vibrant capital with a striving fashion scene. Just like the city itself boasts a striking mix of architectural styles, we were equally seduced by that thrown-together aesthetic at stand-out brands like Aka Nanitashvili, Lela Kuliani and Avtandil. Favourite discovery of the week goes out to accessories designer Anuka Keburia, who designed stunning shoes for designers Teona Elizbarashvili and Atelier Informal. As a fairly new addition to the international fashion week calendar, Georgian Fashion Week may still be in its starting blocks, but we can’t wait to see how it will develop over the next few years.
