Paris couture week has also historically been the fine jewellery world’s time to shine, with all the main houses opening their shiny Place Vendôme abodes. However, never one to follow the establishment, this season Gaia Repossi instead opted for a private dinner to present her Forçat capsule collection of layered chains and grey diamonds with muse and friend Vanessa Traina in tow.

Held in le Salon Art Nouveau, at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs amongst the grand surrounds of Art Nouveau porcelain, Mme Suzy Menkes mingled with Mr Haider Ackermann, while Mme Anna Dello Russo and Mme Shala Monroque did their best to outshine the coolly clad young fashion crowd.
