We thought we’d never say it but now is the time to titivate. This season is all about adornment.
At YSL, Guido Palau dressed his chignons with segmented gold rings, while at Chanel Sam McKnight decorated his with flat-backed Swarovski pearls and dripped them, in perfect alignment, down the spine. Alexander McQueen brought lace head pieces, Louis Vuitton saw a return to the simple white headband, and Givenchy placed silver stickers on eyelids and under-eye. Dig out the Bedazzler.
