How to Haider

Grungy but sleek. We want Haider Ackermann SS 12 hair. And now, KMS California Ambassador, RAW Salon’s Anthony Nader, shows us how it’s done.
1. Start off by treating yourself to KMS California Free Shape Shampoo, as this increases manageability and protects from any heat appliances. Follow with a conditioner in any of the KMS California range that matches your hair type for moisturising and nourishing.
2. On towel-dried hair, you now need to gritty up your locks, so spray some KMS California Hair Play Paste Up Spray all over and rake through with your fingers from roots to ends.
3. Place in your deep side part and take a large horseshoe-shaped section – from the corner of your eyebrow to the crown and around to the other corner of your eyebrow – and secure that top section in a clip for the time being.
4. Now smooth over the bottom section with a large paddle brush that has loads of bristles for extra sleekness, and, once dry, brush tight and secure into a low bun at the nape area and then pin.
5. Unclip the top section and take chunky two-inch pieces at a time and just twist sections of hair in a loose way from roots to ends all over.
6. Attach a diffuser on the end of your dryer as this just gives out heat and not wind, circle the drier around the top section ‘til 90 per cent dry and let the shape now fall naturally.
7. If you want extra mega shine add your KMS Silksheen Polishing Serum to control any frizz that you want to tame.
