At RUSSH we love home-grown brands. Siblings Kirsten and Mike gives us the low-down on their brand Palm Beach Collection.

What inspired you to start Palm Beach Collection?
My brother Mike and I always knew we wanted to work together. We wanted to create a work environment that we both loved! We were spending way too much money on candles and we saw an opening in the market for a great soy candle range.

What is the Palm Beach Collection is all about?
Palm Beach Collection, an exquisite eco-friendly Australian lifestyle product range for true lovers of contemporary style.

What is your career background? What does this bring to Palm Beach?
I worked as a women’s wear buyer for General Pants Group for eight years. In that time I learnt a lot about retail, wholesaling and also planning out a business and its stock requirements. Planning is a massive part of our business especially when the business is growing so fast.

What is your favourite scent from the range?
My favourite scent is our NEW Blood Orange. We have just launched it and its amazing!

Are you going to expand beyond scents?
We would love to expand beyond candles and diffusers. We have some exciting things in the pipeline but nothing is confirmed yet.

What is your life motto?
Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.
