For Therese Rawsthorne's SS 12 effort, Cloud 9's Jon Pulitano brought a little Canadian glamour to the game: it's all androgynous chic, super polished with a soft wave.

First up, hide your length – take the bottom section of your hair, ear to ear, and pull it into a tight pony, plait it and pin it flat to your head. For beautiful, soft waves through the front, use the Cloud Nine Wand – wrap your hair – from roots to mid-length – around the wand, leaving the ends free. Then, comb a deep side-part, take both sides, and twist your hair (gently) under, towards the back and secure the twist to the head with pins. Finally, secure with hairspray for hold.

Too easy. Now just steer clear of men called Bob.
