Just over three weeks ago now, I was boarding a Sydney-bound plane at London's Heathrow, completely oblivious as to what to expect on my first trip Down Under and able to count the number of people I knew there on one hand. The reason for my visit? Well, I’m incredibly lucky that modelling allows me to work all over the world. So Sydney was pin-pointed on the map (helped in some small part by the promise of your glorious weather) and off I went…

I was thrown in the deep end from the outset and sent on castings straight from the plane. Note: looking fresh from a 24-hour flight is not an easy feat. I was soon delighted to find out I was shooting a beauty editorial with RUSSH. A great day of beach-side antics ensued and the lovely RUSSH team made me feel very welcome.

So over the coming months I hope to update you on all the weird and wonderful experiences during my trip to Australia and beyond. From the people I work with, to my favourite beauty picks on shoots and other things I find of notable importance.
