Erdem's elegant florals, tweed and lace meet with some racy black latex for AW, sexing up designer Erdem Moralioglu's sophisticated lady silhouettes. However, it was model Anais Pouliot's central parted, low tied pony tale - secured with a little black ribbon - that took us fondly back to high school.

We thought we’d never say it but now is the time to titivate. This season is all about adornment.
At YSL, Guido Palau dressed his chignons with segmented gold rings, while at Chanel Sam McKnight decorated his with flat-backed Swarovski pearls and dripped them, in perfect alignment, down the spine. Alexander McQueen brought lace head pieces, Louis Vuitton saw a return to the simple white headband, and Givenchy placed silver stickers on eyelids and under-eye. Dig out the Bedazzler.
