Behind the Scenes: On the Press
The boys on the press floor don't remember our names but they assure us they could never forget our pages.
"You guys are really different, aren't you? Really out there," they told us in the early hours of the morning.
They stared at Johnny Depp cruising through a 1995 car park in a towel, Cara Delevingne on Coney Island, and Karl Lagerfeld and his little black jackets.
This press check, we read Zelda Fitzgerald and Sylvia Plath; crossed our fingers and prayed to the powers that be that the shoot we did at the eleventh hour would be all that we hoped for. We went right through the night and when we welcomed the next day, there she was. Welcome to the world, Issue 47.
