On the beach, a pair of swimmers is all I need. Those and a boys' muscle tee knotted in back to surf in. That said, I've never been a fan of packing lightly. So in goes denim, denim and more denim. Easy pieces that can be layered - stripes always get a start - and the Watson X Watson sandals I can walk forever in.

After dark is pretty much my daytime uniform minus the cossies. I toughen up pretty prints on the bottom with boys' tees, rolled at the sleeves, on top. And no matter how much you try to convince yourself otherwise, one pair of heels is all you need.

I listen to albums on repeat. Theophilus London thanks to THAT night at the Chanel Party. Paul Dempsey, because his cover of Born To Run could tear out any heart. Flume, because he makes me believe I can dance. San Cisco because they're all grown up from when we first met them. And, of course, the classics like The Beach Boys – God only knows what I'd do without them.

Walk to your room along a boardwalk through the rainforest, and there you'll find a bed too deep to dream in, a spa bath to soak in (try not to drop your copy of Vanity Fair in like I did), and a netted balcony where you can relax with a cold one/ dry Vanity out. 
The resort offers daily yoga and has a spa that will make you feel brand new. 
It backs right onto Tallow Beach, a fun little beach break, but if it's water-side drinks you're after, hit the pool. Anything with gin in it is a winner.
