I had an image in my mind of a girl standing at a bleak, wind swept rail station somewhere up state New York longing to be taken away somewhere. She's a bit of a traveller… But in a first-class-train-carriage sort of way.

My fabric of choice is …
Silk. It has the most beautiful characteristics. I love it that it can be so delicate or can be rough ... And the way that it can reflect or absorb light makes its colour that much more special.

A piece from the collection that I will be wearing all winter is … The Zelda dress - it is my perfect dress. And the drawstring pants, and the Phoenix jacket in tapestry, and the shimmy skirt, and botanical quilted hillock jacket. The whole collection really.
