A package arrived at our desk last week. It contained a beautiful blue suede document case by Loden Dager, a Kaweco fountain pen, a Le Labo metal perfume travel tube (complete with 2 travel sprays) and Nicola Barker's novel The Yips. It was from Svbscription, the new luxury New York-based subscription gift service for men (although we think the items are equally as beautiful for women). For $330 for a quarterly membership you get packages delivered to your door, with each one being curated by the team at Svbscription, in collaboration with different designers. Almost as good (or perhaps better) as the most thoughtful gift from a friend that knows you so well, Svbscription is the epitome of luxury the most excellent surprise.
