We’re not sure if the untreated plywood runway, amidst the regal surrounds of Roksanda Ilincic’s private member’s club show space was a sign of the times, but the music certainly had us toe tapping all the way back to the late 90s. Ilincic’s soundtrack remix got our vote for the best runway tunes of the week, sampling a hip-hop version of the Bewitched theme song with Monie Love’s It’s A Shame (My Sister) … 'The way you mess around with my heart' … (told you can’t stop!). Not that the music had too much to do with the jewel-hued poshing runways looks, which ranged from opulent fur trimmed pencil skirts to wide legged metallic tweed pants (all about wide-load trousers) and elegantly draped silk sack dresses. It’s a shame the way you hurt me…
