    “This collection is based around the trinkets and artifacts that were brought back to the daughters by the Lords that went to fight in the Crusades,” explains Jones. “Quite a lot of it looks like you were to visit it in a museum.”

    With Alice Dellal as his business partner, Florence Welch and Tallulah Harlech coveting his punky pieces, jewellery designer Dominic Jones today revealed his secret squirrel plans to team up with a true fashion icon.

    “This year I’ve just started a project with Lady Amanda Harlech,” whispers the creative, unsure whether he should be discussing it yet, before pushing forward. “We’re going to be doing a collaborative collection together and it’s going to be the first time she’s put her name to a product line. It’s going to be a 15 piece collection for Net-A-Porter. We’ve just started the design process this week,” he adds enthusiastically, qualifying, “It’s going to be more fine jewellery than my collection - so black diamonds and black opals … Stuff like that.”

    A sell-out success we expect.
