There was an air of confidence to the Acne collection; a flamboyance and concentration on volume that felt like a fresh direction for the Swedish label. Jonny Johansson’s salute to Morocco bought grown-up shapes full of wit. The usual cool street pieces were there but this time they made more of a statement in shots of pink, orange and blue. Crop tops, laser cutting, motorcycle jackets and culottes are back on the radar. And tasselled loafers. Could the loafer replace the pistol boot as our must have day shoe? We think so.
